Kelly Brozowski

Kelly Brozowski is an MPH candidate concentrating in nutrition and dietetics at the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She obtained a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University in 2023.

Kelly is passionate about the role adequate and accessible nutrition plays in fostering community well-being. With a strong background in nutrition science and public health, Kelly is committed to promoting evidence-based initiatives to improve health outcomes in underserved populations.

During her undergraduate studies, Kelly worked with a number of local organizations to increase food and nutrition access to food insecure individuals and families across Tompkins County, NY. Kelly has also served as a sports nutritionist, camp nutritionist, health educator, and dietetic assistant in her previous work. Through her job experience in both private and public institutional settings, Kelly has gained substantial experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds who have food allergies, celiac disease, and/or food intolerances.

In her role as program coordinator, Kelly seeks to expand food and nutritious access by collaborating with community partners, conducting outreach events, and highlighting the significance of living with food allergies, celiac disease, and/or food intolerances through education and advocacy.
