Lisa Shoop
Lisa is passionate about helping those with food insecurity. As a volunteer with FeedNC and Christian Mission, both located in Mooresville, NC, over the past few years, She has experienced firsthand the great value of supporting those in need, individuals, families, and communities. This is especially true for those with food allergies, celiac disease, and food intolerances.
Lisa began volunteering with FOODiversity in April 2025 as our Director of Strategy and Growth. In her Board role, Lisa will add Governance and Human Resource expertise to her contributions and continue to drive initiatives that support FOODiversity’s mission.
She is motivated to use my skills to create and execute long‑term plans that support a mission that truly matters to FOODiversity. Food insecurity is a complex challenge, and is drawn to the chance to help strengthen systems, improve operations, and expand access for families who rely on these services. Contributing structured thinking to an organization and making such a meaningful impact feels like a purposeful way to give back.
