Stacey Schlesinger
Stacey is a Clinical Assistant Professor at UNC Greensboro where she teaches in the nurse anesthesia program and a practicing CRNA with over 35 years of nursing experience. She is passionate about helping others- as a clinician, an educator, and community advocate. A first-generation college graduate, she values the opportunities that education and life-long learning provide. She received her initial nursing degree from Pace University in New York, and most recently completed her doctorate in nursing practice from UNC Greensboro. Stacey has been an active member of multiple professional and community organizations. She recognizes the profound impact that health disparities have on health and wellness and is grateful for the opportunity to serve on the FOODiversity Board of Directors.
Stacey and her husband Michael live in Statesville, N.C. and are parents to three children.
